Palm oil millers generally tend to give a great deal of attention to crude palm oil (CPO), while the kernel does not seem to get the same treatment. As kernel is a major palm product commanding respectable price in the global market, perhaps it is time to give it some attention and it is interesting to note that for decades now the specifications for kernel quality did not change at all.
