Good sterilization is the key to good oil extraction. This paper will be confined to this aspect of milling, with the assumption that all operations thereafter including threshing, digestion, pressing, clarification and purification are at optimal operating conditions to extract the maximum out of the good quality bunches that are delivered to the mill.
